Gli Stand della Birra dell'Oktoberfest

A circa un chilometro dalla stazione centrale di Monaco di Baviera si trova Theresienwiese, il luogo dove da sempre si organizza l'Oktoberfest. In questa grande area all'aperto sono situati i grandi stand delle fabbriche di birra di Monaco di Baviera. Ovunque orchestre di musica tradizionale, forzute cameriere e l'atmosfera "Gemuetlichkeit", la felicità tipicamente bavareese dello stare insieme. Le principali birrerie sono:

Augustiner

Augustiner è la birreria preferita dalle famiglie tedesche ed è facile trovarle vestite con abiti caratteristici della Baviera.

Hacker Pschorr

L'Hacker Pschorr è lo stand dei gruppi rock ed anche per questo il preferito dai giovani.

Hofbrauhaus

Hofbrauhaus è l'unica birreria che permette di ordinare da bere anche se non si occupa un posto a sedere.

Hyppodrom Spaten

La Spaten al suo interno gestisce un proprio ristorante: si può così accompagnare la birra con le specialità gastronomiche tipicamente bavaresi.

Käfers Wiesnschänke

Elegante stand, Käfers Wiesnschänke è uno dei due a chiudere all'una di notte.

Lowenbrau

Lo stand Lowenbrau è riconoscibile dal famoso e grande leone meccanico che beve birra e ruggisce.

Paulaner

La Paulaner è una delle birrerie più frequentate dagli abitanti di Monaco di Baviera, soprattutto dai giovani.

Weinzelt

Weinzelt è spesso frequentato dai vip tedeschi ed è uno dei due stand a rimanere aperto fino all'una di notte.

Per assicurarsi un posto a sedere è spesso necessario prenotare in largo anticipo.

Nei giorni di maggior affollamento, ad esempio durante il fine settimana, si consiglia vivamente di prenoate.
